Kyoto Saito Eikun – Traditional sake cup
This pottery sake cup is named after the blue double-circle design inside the cup, which is affectionately dubbed “Janome”, or “Snake’s Eye” in Japanese. Cups with Janome designs are highly recommended for use in sake tasting sessions. The pure white base allows tasters to observe the colour and viscosity of the sake, while the blue pattern reveals the sake’s clarity and brilliance under illumination.
This sake cup carries the logo of “Eikun”, a sake from Saito Shuzo brewery in Kyoto, Japan.
